The Story of Sk and KT
The Story of Sk and KT
Sk and KT lived in the same village. The village was small, and almost everyone knew each other. Since childhood, they had seen each other many times, but they were not very close friends at that time. Whenever they met on the road, they would just greet each other and talk for a few minutes.
As time passed, their conversations started increasing, and slowly a friendship developed between them. With time, their friendship became very strong. People in the village even started saying that the friendship between Sk and KT was very deep. For the last five years, they had become extremely close, almost like they could not live without each other.
But there was a truth behind this friendship that most people did not know.
Sk had a quick temper, but his heart was very kind. He always respected his friends and never looked at anyone with suspicion. He trusted his friends completely and never expected betrayal from them. Sk believed that if someone becomes your friend, you should value that friendship with all your heart.
If Sk ever became angry about something, he would not stay angry for long. He would often be the one who tried to fix the situation and make peace. He never allowed ego to come between friendships. In his opinion, ego had no place in true friendship.
On the other hand, KT was completely different.
KT’s life had been difficult, and because of that he had become a very emotional person. He would take even small things said by friends very seriously. If someone joked with him, he might feel hurt and become upset. Another problem was that he always expected betrayal from people. Deep inside, he believed that one day his friends would leave him.
Because of this behavior, KT’s friendships never lasted very long. Most of his friendships ended within a year because arguments and misunderstandings would appear sooner or later.
But when Sk became his friend, things were different.
Sk ignored many of KT’s mistakes. If KT became angry for some reason, Sk would immediately try to calm him down and make peace, even if the mistake was clearly KT’s. Sk always said:
“It's okay. These things happen between friends.”
Sk often advised KT not to be so emotional and not to take every small thing personally. But KT usually did not understand this advice.
Despite all these differences, their friendship continued for five years. The main reason was Sk’s patience and understanding.
However, one day something happened that changed everything.
KT met a new friend. At first, he started spending more and more time with this new friend. Slowly, he began ignoring Sk.
Then one day, KT chose that new friend over Sk.
Sk tried many times to talk to him. He said:
“If I have done something wrong, tell me. We can sit and talk about it.”
But KT did not listen. Instead of staying with Sk, he walked away with his new friend.
That day, Sk’s heart broke.
He quietly went back home. In his mind, the same question kept repeating:
“How could the person I always supported leave me in the middle of the road for someone else?”
Still, Sk hoped that one day KT would realize his mistake and come back.
A few days later, Sk went to meet KT again and tried to talk. But now KT had developed ego. He started believing that Sk could not live without him.
Because of this pride, he began ignoring Sk completely.
Now KT spent most of his time with his new friends. At first, he felt very happy. He believed he had found better friends.
But life does not always stay the same.
After a few months, those new friends also left him.
Once again, KT found himself alone.
In that loneliness, he suddenly remembered Sk. He remembered all the times when Sk had forgiven him, supported him, and saved their friendship.
Finally, KT contacted Sk again.
He said:
“Everyone in this world is unfaithful. No one is a true friend.”
Sk stayed silent for a moment and then calmly replied:
“How can you say that? You also left me once for someone else.”
Hearing this made KT angry. He felt like Sk was blaming him.
He became upset and walked away again.
But this time, Sk did not try to stop him.
Sk had finally decided that he would not run after KT anymore. He realized that a friendship where only one person keeps sacrificing cannot last forever.
After some time, when KT’s anger cooled down, he realized his mistake and tried to contact Sk again.
But by then, it was too late.
Sk was the kind of person who rarely became angry. But when he truly felt hurt and angry, he would walk away forever.
After KT’s betrayal, Sk never made another close friend in his life.
He remained alone.
And in the end, KT also remained alone.
Their lives moved forward on different paths, but somewhere deep inside, both of them always carried the memory of their broken friendship.
Moral
Friendship is a very precious relationship.
If ego, pride, or a third person comes between it, the friendship loses its true meaning.
Always try to be like Sk, who values friendship sincerely.
And stay away from people like KT, because ego and suspicion often leave a person alone in the end.
Life becomes easier when relationships are built on honesty and loyalty. 🥀
