The Poor Man and the Monster
The Poor Man and the Monster
This is the story of a poor man named Sikandar.
Sikandar lived near a forest with his wife and children. Every day he went into the forest to cut wood and sold it to earn money for his family. That was the only way he could run his household.
One day, the food in their house was almost finished. Sikandar became very worried. He kept thinking about how he would manage the house and feed his family.
The next day, he took his mule and went into the forest to cut some wood and arrange food for his family.
But suddenly, his mule started running in the wrong direction. Sikandar tried many times to stop it, but the mule did not stop and kept running forward.
Sikandar became surprised and thought,
"What happened to it today? It has never behaved like this before."
After some time, the mule finally stopped in a city.
But the city looked very strange.
Cars were parked on the roads, the doors of houses were open, and the shops were also open. But surprisingly, there was not a single person anywhere.
Sikandar became very scared and thought,
"What happened here? Where did all the people go?"
Suddenly, he heard a very loud and terrifying sound.
It was a sound he had never heard before.
Out of fear, Sikandar quickly hid inside a nearby house with his mule.
From the balcony of the house, he looked outside.
What he saw made him freeze with fear.
In the street stood a huge and terrifying monster. Its mouth was covered with blood, and it was holding human bones in its hands.
Sikandar immediately understood that the monster must have killed all the people in the city. That was why the entire city was empty.
Sikandar quickly thought of a plan.
He tied his mule near the door so the monster would see it and come inside the house.
As soon as the monster saw the mule, it walked into the house to catch it.
At that very moment, Sikandar, who was hiding behind the door with his axe, came out and struck the monster with all his strength.
With a powerful blow, he cut the monster’s neck and killed it.
After the monster died, the entire city was empty. Now the city was safe.
Sikandar took food and useful things from the city and happily returned home.
When he reached home, he told his wife,
“Today I have brought something new.”
His wife smiled and said,
“What did you bring this time? Another tree?”
Sikandar laughed and said,
“No, just come and see.”
Then he told his wife and children the whole story.
Everyone was very happy because now they knew they would never go hungry again and their problems were over.
From that day on, whenever Sikandar needed something, he went to the city and brought it.
After some time, Sikandar moved there with his wife and children and they started living happily in that city.Instead of panicking in difficult situations, a person should use wisdom and courage. Because intelligence and bravery can help a person overcome even the greatest problems. 💪
